A world of Opportunities

The 2017/18 State Budget is all about creating and delivering the jobs of today and the jobs of tomorrow, and improving the lives of South Australians. So, there’s never been a better time than right now to look for a new job opportunity.

The $200 million Future Jobs Fund created opportunities for local industries to grow, employed more South Australians, and attracted more interstate and overseas businesses to come to South Australia. We’ve boosted the Job Accelerator Grant to include apprentices and make it even more attractive to businesses, slashing taxes for small businesses to drive the take-up of new workers.

We are continuing record infrastructure investment on health, transport and related projects – and our new rules mean South Australians are getting around 90 per cent of the jobs and contracts on these major infrastructure projects.
